To benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, Rich Winstock will be making 40 skydives in one day. Children 2 ½ to 18 who have life threatening illnesses will be granted wishes with the proceeds from this event. Starting at 7am on June 13th at Skydive Long Island in Calverton, NY, Rich will continue jumping until sunset to reach his goal of 40 jumps.

Rich Winstock is a veteran skydiver who made his first jump in 1992. Since then he has made over 6200 skydives and is currently an Advanced Free Fall Instructor and Tandem Instructor Examiner at Skydive Long Island in Calverton. Along with monitoring all facets of safety, as the drop zone’s Safety and Training Advisor, Rich and Skydive Long Island have enjoyed a continuing support of local charities.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Suffolk County, NY Inc. relies entirely on the support of the local community to help make wishes come true. The Suffolk County Chapter is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that has granted more than 1700 wishes since its inception in 1983. 87% of the total dollars spent go directly to granting the wishes of local children.
